The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) Information Technology Examination Handbook (IT Handbook) was developed by the FFIEC's five member agencies to create uniform standards, principles and report forms for financial institutions. Nuclear Energy Institute (NEI) is the policy organization for the nuclear technologies industry. NEI 08-09 the ’Cybersecurity Plan for Nuclear Power Reactors’ was established with the goal to protect the health and safety of the public from radiological sabotage as a result of a cyber attack. NEI 08-09 is based on NIST SP800-82 and NIST SP 800-53, which are linked together in the Agiliance Common Control Framework.
